The Lateral Line style takes the side saddle and face forward stroke to a new level
The inside thumb of the stroking hand SUPPORTS the lie angle which provides enough pressure to start the backstroke. A failure to maintain lie angle will allow the club to " fall in" toward your foot which will cause the toe of the L2 to make contact with the ground during the stroke.
