*Testers had a little more confidence during the test but it is clear that with more practice and improved technique their confidence would improve even more.

*This rating is very strong and a sign that using L2 LATERAL LINE PUTTER technique promotes proper tempo when putting.

*Most testers felt it was somewhat easy to learn to use the L2 LATERAL LINE PUTTER system. Given the fact that it is completely different from what they have learned about putting in the past it is clear that it is a technique that offers golfers a viable alternative to try if they want to improve their putting.

*This rating was a real surprise. The testers felt they putted better with L2 LATERAL LINE PUTTER during the test than with their own putter even though the actual objective results showed that on average they putted better with their own putter.

Solid feel & easy to align

Very comfortable, easy to line up.  I can practice a lot longer with the L2.  Good results with longer putts

Hard to read the speed at the moment.  I know with more practice this could be accomplished

Keeping head up at target when making contact, hard for me to trust that I will make solid contact every time.

The weight is the only thing

Very minor observation but the leading edge could be a little more beveled to prevent stubbing the putter in the turf.

*Testers averaged at least 2 hours of practice. GolfTest USA feels that if the testers had invested more time viewing the videos and working on the proper technique they would have had better results.

We have reviewed the evaluations from the twenty testers and have determined that based on the ratings of all the questions and the objective results the L2 LATERAL LINE Putter helped almost every participant in this test improve their putting. The techniques learned while using the L2 LATERAL LINE  Putter even helped them when using their current putter. A significant number of golfers would benefit from using the L2 LATERAL LINE Putter and the Face Forward technique of putting.

 

 

GolfTest USA has tested many putters in the past ten years. Because the  L2 LATERAL LINE Putter is different from most other styles of putters, it is one that should be considered by any golfer who has struggled in the past to improve their putting performance.

Golfers who try the L2 should be willing to put the time and effort into learning a new putting technique. They need to be serious about improving their putting performance. If they put forth the time and effort they will definitely see benefits, improvements, and results from using the L2 LATERAL LINE Putter. Two key areas the testers felt they improved in were alignment and accuracy.
