The stroking elbow needs to bend on the backstroke in order to engage the shoulder motion. Keep your elbow behind the club during the stroke. Flaring your elbow will distort your direction.

THE EVOLUTION OF THE LATERAL LINE SYSTEM
The evolution of the putting game has been long overdue. If you don't think the conventional golf stroke needs evolving, ask yourself why some of the greatest golfers to play the game gave up competitive golf because they couldn't putt anymore! Obviously, the style and equipment are not holding up there end of the deal. Now, golfers can apply a natural shoulder motion stroke with their binocular vision, to repeat a motion that relates to our eye-hand connection. The stability of the L2 putter ties it all together and brings to putting a new experience of REAL distance control, face direction, and a tempo stroke that will be there when you need it. The question always arises as to why the pros aren't using it yet. Well there are a few reasons why but none of them have to do with it being a better way to putt or not. It is more to do with endorsments, availability, the instructional awarness, and exceptability. The other reason is the lack of availability of putters that really work for the stroke. Without a HEAVY, BIG FACED club, with a huge MOI in both head design and overall club weight, the notion of not looking at the ball while you putt will not become common. It is in the design of the L2 PUTTER that allows the stabilized Lateral Line stroke to move this notion into a reality. Sam Snead pioneered this simple SIDE SADDLE setup but did so with a club designed for the old style. These "traditional putters" are designed with the assumption that the golfer will be looking at the ball when used. This allows for a small light face with a small sweet spot, and enough lie angle choices to fit the average golfer. This general design somehow gets reinvented every few months with a "new" putter that will really help this time. It is no surpise that the average golfer has an extensive collection of putters. The L2 will give you a "zero" reference point for stance alignment and stroke tempo and a sweet spot unmatched by any putter on the market. We built our club assuming you are NOT looking at the ball. Even Side Saddle and Face On club designers still produce a club style with small light heads and generic grips. The L2 grip has been designed for the L2 head. Our grip weighs 411 grams which is more then most putter heads weigh. This weight allows the overall club MOI to keep you square and smooth. The L2 Lateral Line Putter is the real deal and will revolutionize golf.
